April 30, 09 Mark Mele of Rita’s Franchise Opportunity

I started franchising with the Century 21 Real Estate Corporation. This goes back to 1985. I’ll give you sort of the history of what I have been up to for the last 25 years. I worked with Century 21 all the way through, you guys remember HFS then Cendant? So for a number of years with Cendant Corporation, HFS, Century 21 and then I was with Carlson Companies. You probably know some of the brands they own. T.G.I.Friday’s, Radisson, Country Inns and Suites by Carlson. I spent 5 years there. Then I spent 6 years in the children’s supplemental education franchise industry with Coumadin Math and Reading and then on to Rita’s where I have been VP of Franchising for 15 months.
