We are meeting with David and Stewart Pikoff, the founders of the Games2U franchise opportunity. David and Stewart launched the mobile videogame theater franchise in Austin, TX in 2007 and today they have sold more than 25 franchises and they plan to open up 100 more by the end of 2009.

March 26, 2009 – The Décor Group

Before I got into this I had a landscaping company which I started when I was about 16. When I first began it was mainly maintenance, mowing lawns, trimming hedges and those types of things and it just continued to grow, adding services such as landscaping services, concrete services, chemical application services to become a full service and one of the largest landscape companies here in Lubbock and what simply happened was I had this need to find a way to keep my employees year round. In a market like ours it does slow down considerably in the winter months and I would have to lay off a large majority of my staff each year and that is really where the idea of holiday lighting came to play. Almost 22 years ago we began to put up decorations many of times for the same customers we provided the lawn care service to and that became the bridge that allowed me to keep the employees and at the same time generate revenue in the off season. So that 10-12 year background in landscape contracting is really where the idea of putting up holiday lighting and decorations was born. A dire need and an opportunity at the same time.
